With its roots in the classroom and life experiences, Show Me was inspired by the curiosity inherent in children. Recognizing the challenges faced by parents in answering their children's endless questions, Liao and Young designed a product that offers instant education. The device combines big data, wireless communication, projector, image, and vocal processing technology to provide an engaging and efficient learning experience.

What sets Show Me apart is its portability and user-friendly design. It is more than just a tool; it is a toy for children and anyone interested in learning languages and exploring the world. The device includes a camera, projector, vocal apparatus, tumble, and wireless charging module. With a single button and a sleek design, users can easily capture and learn from their surroundings.

The device operates by taking pictures of objects and sending the data to the cloud via wireless internet. After data processing, the new information is sent back to the device, where the projector and vocal apparatus display the information and other knowledge. The device also includes additional features such as a tumbler for easy standing, video calling service, and a review function with the projector.

Constructed with ABS engineering plastics and treated with rubber paint, Show Me is a durable and aesthetically pleasing device. Measuring 47mm x 43mm x 120mm, it is compact and portable, making it a perfect learning companion for children.

The development of Show Me was a meticulous process that started in January and concluded in July 2016. The designers conducted extensive research, including interviews, one-day tracking observations, and video analysis involving 30 participants. The main challenge was balancing function and form, requiring a deep understanding of technology and careful consideration of different scenarios. Despite these challenges, Show Me emerged as a successful design, winning the Silver A' Digital and Electronic Device Design Award in 2017.
